A wall is a world

A wall is a world, a “real” space,
it is part of my everyday life; the marks I draw
on it then become the signs of the real
and we can transcend them only in the dream.
A “canvas” is an already privileged space.
As a support for representations,
for fictions: for the imaginary.
I envisioned in the wall-canvas
a sign as a horizon because it lies
Simultaneously in those two worlds
which, here and now, claim possession of it.
It is this breath-dialogue between the immediate near
and the limit of my farthest possible that made me
to connote the wall as a behind, an inside, an above.
